A.“Happy Children Center” Project :

The “Happy Children Center” Project is the first of its kind in Gujarat State and perhaps in India providing multi-model systems of high-quality education, encouraging girls’ enrollment in schools, and improving teaching standards in the slum area of Jamnagar.  The main goal of the center is “Learning with Fun.”  The center uses interesting and creative teaching strategies to create a positive environment for learning, as well as build good moral values, and improve health and hygiene awareness.

Mission-

We want to make a difference in our slum area students’ lives by providing them vital academic information, skills, strategies, and by enhancing positive social growth and physical development … The “Happy Children Center” Project ensures that each student of the slum area acquires the knowledge, skill, and strategies necessary to reach his/her full potential and become a productive, responsible citizen. As a result, these children will become lifelong learners who are sensitive to the needs of a changing world and improve their opportunities in it.
At present we adopted 450 children and have a target to reach 3000 children. We need your support for Happy Children Center, we introduce some of the small and viable projects so you can choose any one as per your interest, and hobby. Your small help can change the future of children. You are the son of God who always helps innocent children.

The main goal of the Happy Children Center is to provide a positive learning environment for children living in the most deprived slums in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Rag pickers, child laborers, children who have dropped out of school, as well as those struggling in school are all served through the Happy Children Center. With a unique approach to education, games and extracurricular activities are used to encourage “Learning with Fun” as well as strong moral values and improved health and hygiene awareness.

B. Aryabhatta Community Science Center (ACSC):

What we do :

ACSC needs society and society needs ACSC :

• Popularize science in social life and open the doors to live a happy life.
• Make science learning and teaching simple and interesting instead of “bookish” and “classroom”  and remove the wrong notion that it is only for “few” intelligent people.
• Train the people to develop a scientific approach and make use of Science in daily life.
• Replacing superstition with Scientific temper makes use of science for progress in a dynamic world.
• Create interest in research in Science and technology during school education.
• Take Science and technology to villages for the development of agriculture, soil, energy, etc. 
• Arrange program on Public Health and Hygiene, Nutrition, and child development.
• Publish literature for information and dissemination.
• Organize workshops and seminars to inculcate scientific approach in society.
• Build a useful library on Science books, journals, charts, and periodicals.
• Conserve natural resources for Ecosystem regeneration.
• Organized a Science study tour, Industrial visit, and visit Nature Park.

What are we doing :

• “Vigyan Safar” for creating interest in science amongst primary students.
• Students carry “Hands-on experiments” on their own, make scientific toys, enjoy games and puzzles, see science exhibits and make models.
• Detecting food adulteration by simple devices and experiments.
• Vigyan Library: Make efforts for the society to keep pace with the speed of scientific research by intensive use of books and periodicals on science.
• Regular science film and video shows.
• Lecture series, seminar, conference, and exhibition-related to science.
• Various competitions for students and the young generation.
• Training classes for understanding science in daily life.
• Celebrating “Science Day”, “Technology Day”, “Anti-Tobacco Day”, “World Environment Day”, “World Intellectual Property Day”, “World Aids Day”.
• “Origami”: Japanese method of paper.

• Gifting books, periodicals, pictures, equipment, and models related to science.
• Various activities as a volunteer.
• Sponsoring and supporting a science project, activities relating to science either full or in part.
• Giving your time if you are an expert or interested in the field of spreading scientific knowledge.
• Providing names and addresses of donors, scientists, and experts.
• Encouraging people to become members of ACSC.

C. Vocational Training Center

We are providing stitching and embroidery training to girls and women for the last 20 years. We are also providing training on “how to make a candle” to children.

This Diwali we need your support. Our deprived children made “DIYA”. We started to promote it by our well-wisher and friends. You can take initiative to promote it in your WhatsApp group and different social media. Your support will very useful for our 400 deprived children and 10 Happy Children Centre where all children get education and nutritious food.
