Chaitanya Charitable Trust is a non-profit, non-political, non-government organization (NGO) that works primarily with the slum population in Jamnagar as well as village of Gujarat to improve children’s education. It also works in health & human services, education, women’s empowerment, environment & humanitarian relief. Established in 1996, all trustees are engaged in different businesses and professions but also devote their time for the different activities in slum area. Chaitanya Charitable Trust is approved organization under 12A, 80 G and FCRA from Home Ministry Government of India which allows it to receive foreign currency donations.
